Let It Snow.

Good morning friends, followers and visitors.

Lilac and white Christmas card for Poppystamps blog today.              http://poppystamps.typepad.com/poppystamps/

I have used a mix of New Poppystamp dies with old.
I wanted to combine "Marais Snowflake" die  with "Snowflake Breeze" die  from the new release.. Marais to  look  like a shooting Snowflake, with trails of tiny snowflakes.. Hope you do not think I have lost the plot..lol

Stunning snowflake on it`s own.. can see a few possibilities with this Marais Snowflake die..mmm maybe next time.

I used Boddington Cottage as a landscape for the trail to shoot over!.
background dots from my embossing folder.
Another idea to use Poppystamps Channel Dies.. as a frame.
I cut a frame using dies.. you need.. measurements:   3.1/4" for the channel dies four edges.. Start with outer edge card size.. 7.1/8" x 6.1/8".. inside  5.1/2" x 4.1/2" finished.
You can make a frame with a paper trimmer ..if you use a slider cutter like Fiskars.. OR a craft knife and ruler.
I placed the channel die along the frame on four sides.. used my craft knife to trim away the corners left.
Few gems to finish.

Thank you for stopping by today and any comments you leave..Pam x

Well, you have done it again, Miss Pam! I am smitten - and want all those dies LOL I am leaving the DRU DT at the end of this month, and will miss the discount LOL Your card is pure, magical DELIGHT! Love the layering idea for the snowflake, and the gorgeous scene you've created, so that the snowflake resembles the Christmas star! Beautifully soft, and wonderfully designed. Thanks for the inspiration this evening! hugs, de
