This card uses some of my favourite colours, White..pinks  & soft green....

Baby tag card.

Good afternoon everyone,  welcome to Sharica new follower, thank you for joining my blog..
thank you everyone for the comments you keep leaving, really appreciate  you taking the time to leave  them.

Beautiful sunny day here today, hope you are having the same..

Oyster stamps DT card..using "Little B"  cutting dies and memory box.. will list what I used at the end of the post, all the collections of little B  are  here 

Started with one A4 card.  Using Martha Stewart board...scored long length  @  3"3/4..  3.7/8..    7.5/8.. 7"3/4..  this makes small channels.for added thickness inside your tag card....when folded I trim excess card of the right hand side...first pocket you fold in..(rather than cut my card to size first)...
next score 6" for the fold for the pockets..I folded all score lines . channels and ends used fine line of wet (PVA) glue.. hope this makes sense to you all..

shading around the stork is Aqua..sorry looks grey!!!!!

this is the first fold (excess) trimmed.. this looks more the Aqua colour.

inside the tag card..If it had been a commission keepsake, I would have printed or stamped FIRST for photo..smile..etc..
this style  would make a few keepsakes not just baby themed..

Bon Voyage

Good afternoon, crafty friends, followers and visitors.

well sun has come out after dinner, rain all morning, least I can get some washing dry now...


Oyster stamps DT card..gone a bit grungy for me,  been playing with the  New " Little B" cutting dies..handy storage with these dies..   come in  a hard backed book, front cover is half, so you can see your dies, that are stored on the magnetic  sheet.

I have used.. Tags.. travel.. block out dies..( negative from this die) all    here 

Started by stamping "Justrite Vintage Travel background" stamp, with versafine black ink, using distress inks..blues and yellows, coloured the background.. cut with one of the tags..cut  black mat with the largest tag shape, both mattered onto cream and fussy cut.
coloured background  has been inked and sprinkled with water,  mat onto cream card..
little envelope from the travel set, I stamped with justrite Grand sentiments..and one from my stash.. map in the circle same set. sorry no idea what the map is???  lastly the cute "Aeroplane"  & clouds..
text from  "Block out" set.. I used the negative letters from the cuts and inked through while still in the dies..

butterflies

Been a lovely day here today, hope you have had the same where you are.

New spring release 2014 memory box  here 

This card use`s mainly butterflies..which i love to use on cards.. these are a little different  this release, they stay in the card  piece you cut or can easily be snipped  out.. you can get the solid body and decorative one to match..

I started with a 6"x 6" card..decided where I wanted the butterflies to cut I used  "Willoughby" & "Rhone"  together,then one more Willoughby... I then just embossed the same butterflies onto the card piece....  then cut the solid shapes and glued under the bodies..  these were coloured with "Pan Pastels"  & glittered..
cut one "Glorious Gerber Daisies"  adhered over the embossed butterflies....
to finish sentiment stamped onto "Classic tags" added pearls...finished  with coordinating mats card size
 7" x 7"....

Massa leaf frame

Back again second post from me today... still  not a nice day, hope it``s better where you are..

New memory box spring 2014..

This card is 7" x 7"...   Pink card...started by cutting a spellbinder labels one shape 63/4" x 63/4", on this I then cut the..
Massa leaf & Blissful butterfly shape`s out. placing them were I wanted them to cut. added foam tape  to reverse side to raise up this layer..
I then cut these shapes again in brown card, the butterfly border has a lovely out line..this I put in the cut out, and glittered the foam that was showing through, adhered pink butterfly that came out of the main card.
Next the Massa leaf die..using double sided sticky backed sheets I stuck onto pink card, then cut with the frame die ....glittered after removing the top paper  sticky sheet.., layered onto the same frame in the cut out.
Next cut a decorative grand labels one pink card , i removed the centre to make a decorative frame, adhered on the main card.. this has all been added to the same size card shape..  hope this makes sense to you all....

golf anyone

Good morning, crafty friends, followers and visitors.

Horrible day here, very heavy rain, mind it`s  not cold..suppose that's one thing..

I think this quick make card is ideal for a MAN`S  (or lady golfers)...fathers day.. birthday..retirement.. other occasions...

I began by cutting the "Golf club landscape" 3 times in green card .. these were distressed with green ink.
top layer  I used foam tape to add dimension.
these little golf carts sit so well with the landscape.
Dad sentiment is "memory box"  classic uppercase alphabet font.
coloured the top section, to make cloud shapes with "tumbled glass" distress ink.

classic ribbons, I stamped with Justrite "You are the best" sentiment stamps...outline tree border to the right. added a few flying bird shapes..also added a few mini gears...

easel baby carriage card

Hope you have had a lovely Easter Sunday.. mine has been making this baby card for my Daughter to give to her friend..

Made an easel card for a change, long while since I did one..

Love this Baby carriage die from memory box, cut in pink pearl card.

Main shape of the card "Cherry Lynn"Mini  Pearl french flair"  also used as matts spellbinder grand labels one & decorative grand labels one....carriage  has been placed on spellbinders  grand decorative ovals one, plain oval embossed with "Cuttlebug" Kars snowflake dots, embossing folder.

Bountiful Sunflower

Good morning, crafty friends, followers and visitors.. welcome to new follower..

Really a chilly start here, NO sun as yet, hope it`s warmer where you are..

I am not a sunflower lover, but I did enjoy using this flower die, I have layered it up..cut one whole flower die..then one flower head..last just the bottom petals. all in white card..coloured with pro markers & Wink of Stella "Glitter Orange".. lastly added Crystal Lacquer with fine black flower soft for the seed head.. the Asti
butterfly stay`s in the card when it`s cut..easy to remove..I decided to cut a spellbinder grand labels one, placed the die in the right corner to cut through  leaving it in the card shape, added a Swirl butterfly, colored touch`s with "Glitter Orange" wink of stella.. finishing touch Plush bow on the flower stem..

Darling and Arched poppies..

Good morning,  crafty friends, followers and visitors..

DT card for Oyster stamps.. new spring 2014 release..Memory box/Poppy stamp dies.

One of my favourite flowers are poppies, so had to play with these poppy dies..

Darling poppies & Arched poppies dies, I cut with green card, two of each..then red crepe paper for the flowers, I cut a few layers and glued into the die cuts..really hard to explain as i make flowers up as I go along..
also decided to add a few drops of crystal lacquer into the layers..this has made them rock hard, so they will not crush..will do this again..brill stuff I have had for years and not used.. added  Plush bow & classic ribbon with a sentiment ..butterfly Effera wings & Rhone wings..

The soft green spray is done with a stencil, I inked through with distress bundled sage, embossing paste..then glamour dust.. on the main card I just inked through.
Lacey die cuts are spellbinders Majestic elements lables twenty five..love these dies..

Silver Wedding card

Today I`m sharing a card I made for a 25th..Silver wedding Anniversary  for   "Graham & Tracey"  as this anniversary was yesterday, I can now blog it.. Think a few of you will know this lovely couple  from "Oyster Stamps" retail shop..

I decided not to go  the traditional silver and white, I love this image Pion papers..its from a 12x12 sheet  you get four 6x6 design..

Bright and chilly day here, least it is dry.


This is a DT card for oyster stamps.  http://www.oysterstamps.co.uk/index.html  received these new memory box dies yesterday,  so been playing today, now I think a water can be for male or female, went the female way on this card.

I have made a frame with spellbinder Grand labels one, this has been 3d foam tape onto a labels one card blank, after I adhered  MB  "Brighton Flower Border" ..spellbinder Bracket borderabilities and Our daily bread " Beautiful Border together. ..cut three flower borders so I could layer up the dimensions on the flowers, finished with gems.

baby girl cot

Good afternoon, crafty friends, followers and visitors.  
beautiful day here today, sunny and dry.


This is the cot to go with the card I made posted on Saturday 5th April. for  baby girl..


Used the Arty Farty template..

Rather than do spindles in the cot side`s  I have used spellbinder "Fancy lattice" die, trouble with this is you need to enclose it, so I cut  four cot pieces.

mobile is Memory box  Quinn Flourish,  cute animal`s  and baby stuff are memory box,  Baby text is a Marianne die.

  

blanket has been embossed with an inked "Cuttlebug"  Baby shower E/F.

Once Upon A Time..

Good morning crafty friends..followers and visitors,

Not a nice day today, been raining, very dull and miserable.


Made two of these card designs, one for our friends 70th birthday and one for husband.. both fisher men, hence the stamped image in the clock face..
These watch stamps by "Heartfelt Creations" once upon a time collection, are really versatile for men or women,.

Started by stamping twice in stazon black on silver mirri card, cut out by hand, then used spellbinders circle die on the second one,  to cut the watch face,  used the handle I cut by hand to layer up....
stamped fisher man with versafine black ink  onto green card, again cut with a circle die, added glossy accents.

this has been layered onto a stamped image, "Time sentiments" onto green card and and embossed with "Once upon a time"  die... pocket watch is from the alarm set, this has been cut with the die,

This baby card is for my Granddaughter, to give to her friend, baby girl is due in  May, so got to get on and do a cot now.. love this Craft artist cd, "Fizzy moon Baby" down loaded on  Thursday night, had to have a play..LOL.
