Good afternoon friends, followers and callers by.
Pop up box card..My first!!! I used "Tattered Lace" .."Pop Up Box die".. Much easier than measuring!!!.
My Daughter needed a card with this theme ASP for a 4 year old girl.
Might have been quicker doing a card, by the time I google searched free images!
Took them into MCS to re size add her name, found things in my bit box..
Still could do with more filling, will do that next time..
Glad to say my Daughter love it...
Well so busy..of to get some crafting done.

ReplyDeleteHi Pam this is a gorgeous card I do like pop-up boxes and they are always popular. I make them on a scoring board which is very simple to. I have made them from A3 card in the past. Hugs Jackie
ReplyDeleteOK Pam I have gone and done it ordered the die from Create & Craft they have it on Multi Payments at the moment luckily for me don't think the hubby will be happy as I used his bank account lol x

I've never done a box card! They look SO hard! This is just amazing & I bet the 4 yr old will be over the moon with it! Bet it will be her favorite "present" by far!

Morning Pam, This is gorgeous, and in the 'Frozen' theme too, Layla will be over the moon. I have the Spellbinders version of the pop up box die, they are much easier than doing all the measuring hahaha.

ReplyDeleteJust love your pop up box. Might just have a look at this die. Or perhaps find a free template showing uou how to do it. A lady told me at the Newbury show that it was easy to do out if an A4 piece of card. But I couldn't remember what she said.

Love all those bits & pieces (and especially the personalized name on the cake!) that will just make her sweet little heart sing. You did a wonderful effort, and hard to believe it's your first try.
