Sharing a card I made few weeks ago for our "New Neighbours", seem a lovely young couple with family.. Still miss my old neighbour of 43years..
Main card Sue Wilson. Noble Pinpoint Squares.
First time I have used this Tim Holtz "Passage Door" 659435 steel rule die from Country View Crafts, I bought this for Christmas cards last year!.I cut two and layered up panels for dimention, shaded edges with DI Antique Linen ink.
Background embossing Tims bricks 656644. embossing folder.
Flowers I printed from "Tattered Lace" Charisma Climbing Rose cd and cut with the matching die.
Computer text.
Leaf spray "Precious Marieke" Flowering Branch from Oysterstamps..
All in Cream card.
New Home Tattered Lace, with Memory box numbers, metal key charm from my stash.

What a wonderful card. I have this embossing folder and it always looks so lifelike but haven't seen the Passage Door one. Beautiful flowers too. Kim x
ReplyDeleteThis is the most beautiful welcome card I have ever seen and I am sure your new neighbors are just doing a happy dance that they have moved in next door to you ! This is such a gorgeous and thoughtful thing to do ! If I were them I would put it in a frame and hang it on my wall !

Pam, how special your young neighbors will feel with the gift of your keepsake and friendship. It's always sad when established relationships change like that. Beautiful card Pam. I would never of thought of using the door. I have a MB one. Must use it next time I need a new home card. Just made two for my sons but didn't think to use the door die. Thank you.

ReplyDeleteWow, I'll bet you knocked the socks off of your new neighbours with this beautiful card. It's cute how you added their house number. The vines and that door are so cute too. I have a die in the shape of a house that I use to give to the new home owner. I even made 12 to 15 of the houses to use as my change of address.
