18th Oval Shutter Card.


Good morning friends, followers and visitors..

Our weather sure has turned Autumnal.. 

Another card for my family's 1st October birthdays (3) this is the last one I`m sharing.
My Granddaughters 18th birthday card..
Sorry my favorite colour again!


 I have had this Tattered Lace "Oval Shutter Card die" a while and first time I have used it, Think its one of the nicest Shapes they have..
Really easy to cut and plenty of dies to decorate the main card.






The centre die "Glamour Puss" free with issue 26 Tattered Lace Magazine.
I have added a touch of colour to skin/hair with Distress Crayons.
Cut whole die in white card and dress in blue glittered and adhered to the white dress.
Scattered hearts waste from Sue Wilson "Heart Spray"
This is placed on the ovals from the die set blue & white.



Left side..Old dies..Memory box..(hearts) "Love Connection"..
"Norrland flower" & "Fabulous Phlox".
With Sue Wilson "Heart Spray" dies.
touch of glitter in the flowers, gems added to the centres.

Rights Side..Tonic 18th in a circle from a set.
Tattered Lace "Granddaughter". die.
Cherry Lynn "Happy Birthday" die
Corners old Whimsy set.


This card is hard to take photos of, it is so large. Folds to a DL size card.

    Hi, Pam! Congratulations to your dear granddaughter on reaching her 18th birthday! She will treasure this elegant, feminine, coming-of-age card! It's truly wonderful, with each panel conveying a separate message/scene. Pam, I've been looking at this die cut set, and wondered, when the card is closed for its envelope, what are it's dimensions please. I was guessing that it might be about 10cm x 30cm - but as I said - it was a wild guess. It's so nice to have a "resident expert" on hand such as yourself!     Oh, good heavens! Best and easiest way ever to make a shaped card. What a great die! But then it takes an expert in creativity to decorate the ovals so prettily. I'm fascinated by your die collection. So perfect for your 18 year old granddaughter!
