Christmas Lantern.

Good afternoon friends, followers and visitors..

After a awful start to the day very heavy rain and cold!
Going to the Craft show at the Dome Doncaster..
Bit disappointed not as many stalls and same as usual traders!
Home for 12.00pm and that was mooching round twice.
It turned out beautiful sun and really warm..

Another Christmas make today.. using Amy Designs Lantern
Also the Christmas card set..

On the left The Lantern after I decorated it.. Cut two in black card:  small piece of acetate coloured with yellow Wink Of Stella Pen.. using Glossy Accents I glued two die cuts together sandwiching the acetate in the middle: The door can be left open or closed, I left open so you can see the candle..
I have used Crackle Accents to decorate when dry I used DecoArt Snowtex..

Right  side image Lantern  placed onto Christmas Card Set Die smallest size, this has been cut top left with..
Memory Box..Open Studio.. "Distressed Snowdrift Collage" die set. inked edge DI Bundled Sage.

Had to make two..Love a  Lantern on Christmas cards. finished with this lovely Merry Christmas die by Amy Designs..

So sorry I didn't spot you at the show, (I probably spent too much time with my head in bargain bins!) Had a great time - hope you did too.

  25. It's a lovely lantern and I like the way you've used this pretty die shape. Clever to hang it with one of the holly leaf tendrils, and I like the addition of the dimensional snow. Of course it's framed out so lovely with the layered dies. The way you've created the lantern with the acetate and the WoS 'light' is so clever. TFS & Hugs
