Good morning friends, followers and visitors, welcome to new followers and thank you for joining me.
Trying to make Christmas cards that are flat for mailing...
Hard for me to do!!!
Finished card Size 7"x 7" using Sue Wilson "Noble double Pierced Squares".
Also made a frame using same dies.
Other dies used are Tattered Lace. & Poppystamps.
This gorgeous Robin is "Melded Seasonal Symbol" TL
I started by die cutting my Poppystamps Stitched Square Layers 4" die.
Next I cut the Robin and matching side die out.
Colouring I used Tim Holtz. Distress Crayons & Markers
I used thin strips of 3d foam tape to raise slightly around the edge .
Lovely lattice work from Tattered Lace "T Bar Slider Set".
Adhered Robin square to this.
Old Anna Griffin Christmas sentiment stamp. from a set.
Bead for eye pearls and glitter to finish..
Thank you for stopping by...Pam x

ReplyDeleteOh, my gosh, I love, love, LOVE this bird die and your coloring of it and the way you framed it with the lattice. Stunning! You keep making more favorites!
ReplyDeleteWauw Pam, you've did an amazing job by making this flat card. I love the robin and the holly in combination with the lattice die. I think the pale ink of the sentiment works great on this card, using black ink was just too bold. Love it...

ReplyDeleteStunning, beautiful, gorgeous and whatever other words to say the card is fantastic.
ReplyDeleteHa ha Pam, know just what you mean about TRYING to keep them flat for posting - those pesky dimensional elements will keep sneaking in. You've done a fab job on this one though. Love the robin, and such a good idea to set him back in his cut out - saves a whole layer! Gorgeous design.
ReplyDeleteGirgeous card Pam, x
ReplyDeleteWow Pam. This is gorgeous. Love the robin. Thank you so much for sharing
ReplyDeleteLove this gorgeous work here, Pam, those dies, the colours and added goodies are just perfect... Hope your day is good.xx {aNNie}
ReplyDeleteLove the beautiful way you've done the cut-out/embossed look frame with this delightful robin. (super coloring with the crayons too! so soft & delicate). Once again, you've used the dies in combinations that stun and enhance the imagery of this beautiful card. The sentiment is perfect with the outer layers too. This just so amazingly gorgeous. TFS
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful Pam...

ReplyDeletePam, I just love your cards, I hope you don't mind me asking but I have fallen in love with your robin card, can I copy it please for my cards next year, I already have most of the items needed, but would love to know which colours you used for colouring in the robins and the holly leaves. I have never used these Crayons/markers before, if you can give me the names I would be anle to order just these colours, to see how I get on, many thanks in advance Kind regards Lynn
