Irises...You`re So Special.

Good afternoon craft friends, followers and visitors, warm welcome to Jackie and Karla, thank you for following me..

Thank you everyone who left a comment and get well wishes on my card on Saturday, it makes you realise how many kind cyber blog friends call and see you...xxxxxxxxxxxxx.

My card today is Iris flowers by "Frantic Stamper" ....I cut these out and was stumped, how was I supposed to glue and shape them...did my best..Think they look like an Iris..LOL.. just glued the bottom together!!! if you understand..they were cut with oyster pearl card, shaded with "Adirondack" Denim ink and Wink Of stella "Glitter Orange Pen"..

Tried to make one whole flower, one just opening and a bud...

Think I will have to have another go when I have Time..LOL..

Love these stitched squares by Memory Box "Open Studio" Stitched Square Layers. made a frame from largest and third size.. outside one raised with foam tape.. this is sat on ..Spellbinders 3d Em-bossing folder "Decorative Applause".. it is 6x6 so I covered up some outside edge with a frame from discontinued grand squares to make a 6x6 card size..
Finished with spider webb and chiffon ribbon, Elegant vine sprays.

Thank you for calling by and if you leave a comment, I really appreciate them..Pam x

  2. Beautiful card Pam. The framing and flowers are perfect. It's funny how although we have never met, we learn so much about a fellow crafter from their blog that we feel we know them. Glad you seem to be better now and looking forward to your next beautiful creation. Thank you for the inspiration you give too. x

  8. Pam, so glad to hear you are feeling so much better. Your irises do indeed look like the real flower (how do I know? we have some purple ones blooming at our house just now, and your shapes are perfect!). I love the soft blues and yellows on your flowers though. Wonderful EF in the background and those stitched MB dies are gorgeous! The floral bouquet is so dressed up with the flourish sprays that you've shaded with the slight blue and your cards are always so elegant & beautiful. TFS & Hope your wkend was good too. Hugs
