Tree Of Life In A Frame.

Good morning friends, followers and visitors..

It`s Wednesday..My turn to post over on Tutti Designs Blog.

Card Size.. 6.1/2"x 7.1/2"

I have cut two trees in grey card, adhered these together, for thickness, coloured as shown with Tim Holtz "Distress Markers" added Stickles Star dust glitter glue, love my glitter lol.

Gave the tree a bit of dimension just shaping and bending! main trunk added 3d sticky foam and some slithers along a few branches, this I placed in my frame I made with rectangle dies also 3d foam taped, the pale blue background has been embossed in a tree design folder.

Sentiment stamp from my stash! cut with a label die, added a ribbon.
Flying birds and Butterflies I used from "Stacked Butterfly Cups" Always look at your dies! surprising what you can use!

Hope you like the card.

  6. How very clever of you to use the butterflies the way you did. I'm not good at thinking outside the box. Lovely card. I like the placement of your sentiment, which is nice by the way.

  16. Ohhh, I don't have this tree but I love what you've done with it! Super idea to use the embossed trees in the background, and those birds and butterflies from the teacup die are brilliant. I noticed the flying birds on your card right off the bat, but I sure never noticed them on the die. May have to put those teacups on my list after all!
