Pine Twig.

Good morning friends, followers and visitors..

Another D.T card for Poppystamps Blog Blitz..http://poppystamps.typepad.com/

Give away today is the beautiful "Pine Twig".. all you have to do is pop over and leave me a comment on this post.

I needed a birthday card in a hurry  for my Daughter! it is her birthday today along with her husband 50th! and my Granddaughters 18th (Son`s Daughter)  as we have been away I did`nt get any cards done..such a rush!
Well onto the card.. Todays prize is this gorgeous "Pine Twig"  I have used it with Poppystamps "Stitched Poinsettia Trio" (Love these).. Two very versatile dies here.

The pink pearl string I made myself! pinched my husbands fishing line and threaded on these beads, used hot glue to make them stay in place, white pearl string I purchased.

Sorry about the picture quality!!! this is how I made the topper for the card.. cut a  rectangle, placed the "Elegant Contour" each end cut in your machine.. Next I did the same with Pink card.
Trimmed away some of the white card sides  and adhered to the pink panel..

Finished by using "Festival Tags" with Vintage Happy Birthday die,  I stamped Daughter before giving it to her..
hope this has given you ideas for using your Christmas dies.

  2. Good morning, Pam! I can imagine your daughter's delight upon receiving this exquisitely lovely card! Do you present your dimensional cards in a matching gift box or do you hand deliver them in a loose fitting envelope? Recently those tags made their way into my stash as well! So glad to see one used in this way! The pine sprig is beautifully delicate, and your spray is both elegant and sweet at the same time! Fantastic birthday card, but it's also suitable for just about any occasion! (Love your pink pearlies, girlie -- SORRY! I couldn't pass up the silliness!) enjoy a wonderful weekend, my sweet friend! Hugs, de
