Dream Butterfly.

Good evening crafty friends and visitors..

Sharing my post from Poppystamps Blog  tonight.

Card using new dies from the latest release.

Think Poppystamps DT are loving these New Release Butterfly dies,  a few of us seem to be using them! unless we are all hoping for Spring weather to arrive..

This "Dream Butterfly" die from the new release is 3.1/2" wide when flat.  so I just arranged on a corner with foliage.

No background matching die, so I embossed this butterfly in my die cutting machine, then cut around with scissors, as shown.

Using the cutout butterfly in blue card  (as below) I have adhered to the embossed one.. using Pro marker I added some colour and glitter to the background, with random brown dots with marker pen.

Adhered plain white cut out butterfly  just the middle section, so these wings are loose. I  hot glued to the card with some  ribbon mesh.

These two border sides are "Tendril Dream Frame"  just enough on this card with this sweet "Hello" brown with a whit shadow,  foliage "Monterey Vine" with a few Butterfly Sprinkles in brown..
finished card 7.1/2"x 6.1/2".. cut in Aqua and White.

Thank you for stopping by...Pam xxx

  10. How delicate and beautiful. The delicate background die must have been tricky to place on. It looks terrific. The new butterfly die is gorgeous. Butterflies have been around a long time and they are still popular.

  27. I use the same words each time I visit: Beautiful, gorgeous, Stunning! But they're always true. I love the design of the soft subtle colors. The pierced frames are perfect and it was clever to use the borders as you've done. It gives a lovely look of an additional frame. The underlay of the delicate butterfly is so pretty and draws the eye into the floral bouquet too. TFS & Hugs

  30. I think Spring has started to make an appearance here in Cornwall, lovely and warm and sunny today, the spring flowers are blooming but too early for butterflies, will have to make do with your beautiful butterfly instead - very delicate and pretty, as is the rest of your card xxx
