Good morning friends and visitors, wish our May weather would get a bit warmer, lovely sunshine with a chilly wind..
White Wedding Card.
I purchased this Tattered Lace "Lace Insert Stepper" die set a few weeks ago from Create and Craft.
I did cut it out to try it.. Not an easy die to cut!! had to run through my machine many times and use shims...I wasted two A4 sheets of pearlescent card, running through that many times it moved in the die.
I had more success using an A4 laminate sheet..I placed both the card and die inside, this does seem to stop any movement and adds a shim.
I love this die!! so will have to keeping it!..
I have used A4 White Pearlescent and Oyster Pearl card..My Oyster Pearl card is a lot thinner so a lot easier to die cut.
Both have been sat around a couple of weeks so decided to make them as Wedding cards for my box. hence no personalised details.
Both cards are identical..
Tattered Lace "Bride & Groom 2016" .... I have cut two for each card, adhered these together to add depth, I have used sticky back foam to raise the bride and groom, swirls on her dress have been glittered, bouquet touch of pink and green with pens & glitter..
I have also added a touch of colour to this pretty TL "Mini Cherry Blossom" tiny bow by Memory Box ..Open Studio "Stitched Bows"
TL Congratulations die and "Have A Wonderful Day" from their "Sentiment Borders"
Side panels come with the Stepper set.
Oyster Pearl card for this one.
Think you tell the difference between White & Oyster now they are together below.
Thank you for stopping by Pam xxx

ReplyDeleteMorning Pam, Two stunning cards, I didn't notice the difference in colour until you put them side by side. This looks a fabulous die set albeit a pain to cut, but your perseverance has paid off. I love these !!

Stunning wedding cards Pam, love the beautiful design. x
ReplyDeleteHi Pam your cards are stunning they look amazing. The dies are gorgeous. It is good to know when a die is slightly harder to cut. Have a great weekend. Take care. Hugs Jackie
ReplyDeleteAmazing and stunning! You have such a unique and fabulous way of combining the dies and creating the most amazing cards. Thanks for the tip on the laminate sheet x
ReplyDeleteLove the white on white with a hint of colour on your beautiful card Pam

Hi, Pam! What an incredibly BEAUTIFUL wedding card! This will definitely be a keepsake in someone's wedding album. I can just imagine how elegant it must be in person with the pearlescent card stock. It's frustrating how some dies require so much coddling to cut correctly. There are a few brands that I find difficult to emboss, as well, because the paper falls out of the die so readily! But I'd rather have that than the opposite problem LOL
ReplyDeleteThe white on white layers in your card are especially lovely. Someone's special day is going to be made even more memorable by your masterpiece! Wishing you a fantastic week-end! hugs, de
Such a beautiful card Pam, i love the stepper card die no wonder you want to keep it, the white on white is just so perfect x Janis x
ReplyDeleteThis is just stunning. I love the pearlized c/s and all the beautiful details. My favorite are the pearl hearts. The whole card is so elegant and a perfect wedding card.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful keepsake this will become for a future couple. All the details are perfect.
ReplyDeleteVery very pretty card Pam, I love white on white, it is amazing how some dies are just no easy to get on with...I have a few of them too, but perseverance is the name of the game....does not get the better of me...luv Ursula xx

What a beautiful and elegant wedding card. It was certainly worth all the effort you put into cutting it through the cutting machine. The design and layout and the use of your dies is stunning. A lucky couple would be honored to receive this.
ReplyDeleteWow! You made two of these amazing cards? Fantastic! Now that you know the trick to cutting this large die it might be easier next time. You sure do have all the right dies to make any card a masterpiece. I'm in awe!
