Good morning friends and visitors, sharing my post from Poppystamps blog we are have a Blog Blitz, prize`s on the post details on the link..
"Fall card" today.. prize today "Crooked Fence" from the new release by Poppystamps.. Sorry I have not used this die on my project! I was going to decorate this acetate jar at the bottom with this fence...but still in the post somewhere.
My fairies and leaves Poppystamps "Autumn Fairies stamps and matching dies, coloured using pro markers and touch of glitter glue.
I have used Acetate from an old package, die cut the jar, then taped this to my old wooden rolling pin, heat with my heat gun and shaped around the rolling pin! worked a treat!
Natural moss placed in the bottom of the jar, using hot glue.

What an adorable, sweet project, Pam! Such genius to use the rolling pin and heat tool to curve the jar. At first, I thought it was a purchased item. I should know better, when it comes to you. I SO ADMIRE the perfectly placed red dots inside the star-flowers of your oval die. Sweetness in every way, and gorgeously put together. Love it. I am leaving a much dreaded copy-and-paste phrase on my friends' blogs. Trying to get back into the groove of normal, everyday life. The recent events in Florida caused circumstances which triggered exacerbations of my diseases. Hoping that my hands heal, and strength returns soon - the rest of it can be coped with easily enough. Thanks for understanding my inability to accomplish very much - maybe in October? love and hugs, de

Beautiful card Pam. I once thought of trying packaging acetate but it was a disaster. Then I bought some and didn't know what thickness to buy so I went with the smallest number and it was a bit like saran wrap..
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your expertise. Marie P.
