Blooming Poppy.

Good morning friends, followers and callers by.

What awful weather we have had today, rain and more rain, really chilly last night!!

Ever had an idea for a card, you must try it..This is one of those cards, all day job yesturday..

Poppies Memory Box " Blooming Poppy".
I wanted to make these Poppies strong enough to stand away from the card (not attached)
I came up with the idea of using thick strong Acetate, was surprised the die cut this, just had to use scissors  on few bits to cut away,  left the butterfly though..

Acetate and white card, adhered together with glossy accents.

die only cuts as shown.

I cut a frame with spellbinders Grand Squares (discontinued) Foam tape around this..cut the base of poppies same size,  added foam tape to this also.
On the pink back panel I cut two slit to thread this poppy base to the back. adhered with red tape.

Paper I have inked up ready to to just cut the poppies from the die..

Red card attached to poppies and butterfly, with a bit of glitter for sparkle..LOL

Inkylicious "Oriental Awakening" stamp, ink Adirondack Cranberry.
Tiny butterflies from "Butterfly Wing Medley" M/B.
"Garland Greenery"  M/B.

Thank you for stopping by my blog. if you leave a comment I will return to you.

WOW; drop-dead gorgeous card; poppies are my favorite when stamping flowers. So nice of you to send how-to info. This is definitely something I would frame and hang on my wall; should be sent to a magazine for publishing, too.
