Count The Blessings.

Good morning crafty friends and visitors..

Sharing my card from over on   Poppystamps Blog  today.

I have used Poppystamps  "Garden Lantern" to create an outdoor scene, roll on summer!.  Thought this lovely sentiment from Poppystamps "Into The Words"  very apt for using with these candles. stamped onto and die cut using "Stitched Tunnel Tags".

This is how I created the crackle effect on the lantern, apply a good coverage and leave to dry, as it dries it crackles.

Hope you can see the crackle on the " Garden Lantern"  with Freida Leaf for embellishment with  "Formal Candles"

"Preppy Flowers" with "Toadstools" along the bottom of this panel,  these I cut in beige for the stalks and red for the top, added some white dots with my pen.

Thank you for stopping by today Pam x

This is such a wonderful design and scene you have made here. The crackle is perfect for a lantern and I love the candles inside. I have been eyeing those mushrooms and toadstools dies and now I see how cute they look tucked inside the Preppy Flowers.

What a fabulous card with the lantern, candles and the little toadstools all taking centre stage. But the colours of the frame and the sweet preppy flower border and also the lovely Freida leaf bring it all beautifully together.
Thank you for your kind words.

Beautiful, Pam! I love those cute mushrooms and the crackle on the lantern. I do have some Crackle Accents, but never think to use them on die cuts. Now I'll be trying to come up with some ideas. You're always inspiring me!

What a cute card. I especially like the polka dotted toadstools. Adding those white dots really make the toadstools pop.

Love this card, Pam. x
I have a question!
Crackle Accents - how do you stop them from drying out? I have small bottles that physically hurt my hands when I try to get the darn stuff out of them. Even brand new bottles hurt... but I'm loathed to use a big bottle and have the same issue with it clogging up. Help???
PS. Love the 'unusual colours for you' look to this one. xxx
