Hi crafty friends and followers, hope you are having a wonderful Easter Holiday..
I have been having a play with an idea..
I have seen a few of these "Bow cards" around that use a template.
So I got to thinking if "Tattered Lace " Mega Bow Die set I have would make a similar card.
Not bad I think!! not saying will make another though.
Pretty cream lace from my sewing days.
Roses I think from Ribbon Box, had for a long time, great to be able to use at last.
I have inked paper & card edges with Distress Ink "Tattered Rose"
Pink string beads from E-Bay.
Base card Tattered Lace "Hexagon Shape".
I have done some distressing with white Gesso on these pretty roses and a touch of splattering.
This is the Tattered lace die I have used.
All together I cut... First (largest size) twice in cream card and twice in the next size down for patterned paper mat,
Smaller bow Smallest size twice in cream.. I then drew around the inside edge of this die onto pattered paper, to get a smaller mat.
All edges have been inked with Tattered Rose ink.. adhered these cream and patterned bows together with pva glue.
Next I curved around my rolling pin.. to add shape. glue each end to the center to form a bow!
To get a slanted bow shape as shown, you need to cut these bows in half and adhere onto a any card shape..I used TL Hexagon..
Lace and flowers where added next..
