Classic Cottage.

Good morning everyone.
Sharing my post from http://poppystamps.typepad.com/
We are having a Blog Blitz! that means prizes to be won.

On offer today..Classic Cottage..
I die cut in the centre of a rectangle with Poppystamps Open Hillside die. Next using Memory box Winter Snowflake Stencil..I random added Glitter paste through for some texture.

When dry...and BEFORE you adhere the Crooked Fence in place.  This is how I got my red inner mat. place your decorated card, face down onto wrong side  of red card..draw around the inner with pencil.. Next use a ruler to add a small margin inside edge..This will give you a red inner trim.

Close up of the decorated snowy scene ..Classic Cottage and Crooked fence,

Finished my card with Stamping and shadowed "Sparkly loose Script" ..Random "Shiny Snowflakes"

The Blog Blitz 20th-30th November.. so make sure you pop over  and comment to win the prize of the day.

1961 Classic Cottage craft die
Todays prize..

Thank you for stopping by and good luck if you enter Pam x.

Haven't seen this die before, but if I don't win it I'll try the technique of the framing with something else -it is so effective. Many thanks for sharing.

Another gorgeous snowy card,I would love to have a white Christmas. We Aussies mostly cook the cold weather food and then complain about the heat!.....the smart ones have sea food and cold cuts.
