Shaker card For A Third Birthday..

Good morning crafty friends, followers and callers by..

Hope you are all well, sending a hug if you need one, our weather sure has changed here in South Yorkshire, not bad in the sun, but sure cool out of it..

Shaker card for 3 year old birthday..

Thought I would do embellishments in three`s..
I made this fancy shaker part by cutting the "Crealies X-Tra. no 2" ..it creates 8 points. I cut 3 and glue them together, offsetting them, then curled paper points outwards.

To make the shaker part I used "We R Memory Keepers" Fuse Tool.

Great tool save you using foam tape.

filled shaker with beads..sequins.. micro beads and glitter..
 I framed this with Open studio M/B.. Pinpoint scalloped circles  and studio circle Layers.

Book Page markers. Tutorial Added.

Do you use bookmarks! when reading.. been playing with this square shape Crealies X-Tra..no 1..

It emboss`s a square in a card  and cuts a from corner to corners, years ago we used roll these back with something peeking out..Remember?..



This is the die in the packet.. well I cut and started folding and ping these page markers came into my head LOL.

I used bits from my bit box, to get a fish tail. studio square layers length you need.

after cutting I folded in a triangle shape. glue just the edges, so your page slips inside..

Frantic Stamper Caterpillar with googly eyes both sides and  flowers from a pkt bit of ribbon..

I can see children really enjoy folding and embellishing these page markers..
great for craft fairs too....

Bad weather here, hope the sun comes out like they forecast.. Wind and heavy rain, glad I`m indoors.
Warm welcome to new followers, thank you for joining me.


Have you seen these new Crealies  dies from http://www.oysterstamps.co.uk/  had to order them "Stitched Rectangles"  Great size these XXL..largest  61/2" x 5"..Waiting for ovals to come in stock.

I used two Rectangles to create a frame.. M/B Elliana Background  behind this.
Heart.. I have used.. M/B Plain Glorious Heart and Ferrand Heart .. I cut two of these so I could layer these flowers. They are coloured with the new ink from Tim Holtz  "Twisted  Citron" and Archival "Deep Purple"  Also coloured this seam binding purple..

Before I removed the Ferrand Heart I coloured the flowers with inks.
After I cut the flowers away from the heart, I cut down to the centre to help raise the petals. touch of glamour dust!.

I made these stick pins..also used M/B Pennington Rose Corner right top..(M/B== Memory Box)
