Thought I would share this card with you, for my friends 70th birthday,  used some old and new spellbinders for a change.

Good morning,  blog friends and visitors... Hope you all had a lovely Christmas, ours was very quite but a lovely day.

Hope you are all safe from this weather we have been having, must be terrible for those who have suffered with  floods, my heart goes out to them.

well I had to buy this gorgeous die by Taylored  Expressions "Mr & Mrs"  from   oyster stamps  (cannot link as it will be back on the web page some time tomorrow. Monday)   very versatile as you can cut away the mr  & mrs, put what you like in the space left, also used new couture creation  folder  "Endless"   here

 

 

I embossed the background, then  coloured in with pro markers, then attached the cut out die shape with coloured Mr & Mrs .

Good Morning, crafty friends and visitors.

Had a fantastic time at Oyster stamps retreat "Forrest Pines" Brigg  north Lincolnshire. brilliant projects and fantastic tutors,  met some lovely crafty ladies, photo below,  beautiful hotel and fantastic food, my first crafty retreat but not my last, hopefully they will do this again next year.

Hi Everyone,

Hope this post has blogged today Saturday, as I am away on "Oyster Stamps Craft Retreat"  Brigg nr Lincoln, from Friday afternoon. writing this up Thursday night!!!
will let you know how I get on when I get back, so looking forward  to it,  think most of you know I am a DT member,  but class them as friends as well, there are such lovely people.

This is the first card I made from the New Heartfelt creations November/October  collection,  It use`s  ONE  topper from the 12x12 paper pad.

I cut the topper into three sections, first layer matted onto spellbinders

very chilly here today, lovely sunshine, but so cold...

Another card today using Stampendous "Click Heels" cling stamp. available from here at
oyster stamps  now.

Think I like this card the best of the three, I love red think that is why, stamped all the layers with versemark ink pad then used black embossing powder.  sprinkled and heat set  black aged embossing enamel.
I have fussy cut the red layers, clock  face I used crackle accent, other parts is glossy accents.

lovely sunny day here, but windy and cold, least it is drying the washing.

Something different from me with this card  design (not sure about this at all)  sure my Granddaughter will like it, made it for my Daughter.

Background was stamped in versamark  then applied the powder with a soft brush.

Hi every one,

Been having a play with the  "cute carton template`s"  from create and craft, by stamps away, you got the large and small template, this one is the large 9" tall.
well you can make them for  all sort`s of occasions, mine is a keepsake one.

 

love this embossing folder, oldish one by Couture Creations  Fresh and Fun Collection  "hyper Magical" 5x7  here oyster stamps    I ink the folder to give a bit of colour.

I also  embossed the card piece separate the adhered to the carton.

I put Velcro fastening in the top, rather than threading the ribbon through, easier that keep untying the bow.

 lovely day here beautiful sunshine & breeze,  in the middle of a good clean and washing.

Christmas card, another technique I have not tried before, using a embossing folder and heat embossing with glitter embossing powder, just on the raised design.
I found this technique on U-Tube.. sorry lost the link.

I stamped the sentiment first, then die cut the card, with memory box "Landscape border" die, then embossed in the folder Couture Creations "Jolly Christmas".
next rub over your embossing with a antistatic bag!!!, using a roller, roll over the raised design, with versamark ink, next sprinkle with glitter embossing powder and heat with you tool.
If you do not use the antistatic bag , your powder does stick to the background as well.

Granddaughters birthday

This card today is for my Granddaughters 20th birthday 11/11/13.. haven't made my mind up yet, if it`s from  my Daughter or myself, will wait and see what I do for the next one.

Did the design around the Kanban topper, glad I purchased these before they finished, mind you I did get the matching stamps as well, (paid silly money as you could not get hold of them when they where realised ) .

pearl flourish useing stamps

miserable here today, Warm but raining.

This is how I did my the doeflex off cuts to make  my pearl flourish on the last card,

I did see the idea on blog land somewhere, but sorry I cannot find you a link, all it was the stamps she had used.

this is what I used..     Fiskars stamp press (best thing I ever purchased)   oyster stamps

you could use your own pearls or gems, do large or small gaps inbetween the dots

these are the eyelet setters Fiskars think they are still about.

this is the Inkadinkado stamp I used, you could use any flourish, the dots do help.

hi Everyone,

poinsettias are my new stamps by Heartfelt creations "Christmas poinsettia" HCPC 3557.
matching die  "Sun kissed Fleur" HCD 734   here  oyster stamps.

These I heat embossed  with white embossing powder, then inked  with Distress  Festive Berries and Victorian velvet ink pads.

This is how I did my pearl flourish, I stamped onto doe flex off cuts, then made holes, placed  where I wanted flourish, marked through holes with a pencil.  (Made a few of these templates)

bird house and diamond background

hi Everyone, warm welcome to new follower, followers and visitors.


I made this card a few days ago, the colour is really pale as on the bird house, not as it looks on the background photo,  used the new poppy stamp dies again, love this  "Diamond Background" also  "Bird house"  and "Garden Lattice".  the "Diamond Background" is on Advanced order, hopefully will be in soon.    here   oyster stamps.

Terrible day today, been out with my Daughter, coming home the rain was horrendous, car wipers could hardly cope.

Another card using the October Release from "Heartfelt Creations" should be in this week here at   oyster stamps   on Advanced order.

Fancy borders cut with spellbinders "Borderabilities A2 Bracket 1.  here  oyster stamps.
Cream card, cut with the die, covered with paper from the pad, also cut with the die,  made a small pocket for the large tag, stamped with the sentiment, to sit in, added a flower and leaves to both.
did some fake stitching with  a black pen.

Emilys first birthday

HI everyone,

This is a first birthday card I made a few weeks ago, as Emily's birthday has gone, thought I`d share it with you.

Image, sentiment and background were created in Do-crafts Digital designer,  Especially for you cd`s.

made my own decoupage on the cd, cut the main design  with circle nesties, added some card candy, border is Martha Stewart "Doily"  punch.

Special day, diamond background

Hi everyone,

welcome all followers old and new, and visitors.

This card today is using the new "Poppy Stamps dies"  Diamond background, this will be listed on oyster stamps web page Monday,

Now this is not a quick card to make, lots of die cutting, inking and embossing, but I think it was worth  all the effort , I made two (as I sometimes do) one for oysters and on for my box LOL.

I embossed a card piece, with the die, inked this card piece, the cut the die out, adhered this onto the inked piece, then die cut a frame with spellbinders  "Decorative labels eight die, had to cut with my craft knife the centre  section out, glued this onto the frame.
Pearl flourish... Made a template from a flourish stamp, I stamped onto  doeflex of cuts, made holes in this, put  in potion, where I wanted my pearl flourish then marked with pencil through the holes, used liquid pearls..(These are so expensive to by)LOL.
Flowers have been stamped, die cut then shaded with DI.

A recovery wish, heartfelt creations October release

welcome new follower and  followers and visitors,  think winter is nearly here, was  really cold  and windy yesterday.

This is another New release from "Heartfelt creations" October collection,  "Sweet Juliet".
Flower die HCD 2740. 
Main image is a topper from the paper pad  "Antiquity" paper pad  HCDP 1237.
I cut the middle circle out with a nestie,  stamped onto paper from the pad, love this stamp  "Recovery Wishes. HCPC 3565. stamped and embossed with Stampendous  pearlustre "Hessonite" embossing powder, cut with circle nestie.
