mans 70th birthday

glorious day here today, hope it has been as nice where you are.
been making a lot of family birthday cards for October..

This card is for my friend, for a relations 70th birthday..
brief..
unusual spelling of his name Grahame.
played  guitar in a band in the 60`s..still plays today.
phew...I do not like men cards to start with.. this is the best I can come up  with.

Used  MCS..  Topper of band, I made   from different image`s  in  MCS.
man playing  guitar topper is from one of the MCS cds. added the date`s, then  a bit of stamping music notes.

Match box "Advent calender box"

Hi Everyone,

Not been around for a few days as I have been working on this  Advent calendar box. very time consuming.. sorry I cannot give instruction for this as I made it up, by looking at a picture as I went along.

Match box `s were cut with Cheery Lynn Die.. medium B329. available from  oyster stamps.

Memory box  Advent calendar die set  here at oyster stamps  these have been cut with glittered craft foam. brads I had to colour with Krylon gold pen, they were orange and green.

 

top of the box has been decorated with Heartfelt creations sun kissed Fleur stamps and matching die, I heat embossed in gold powder, onto the paper.

 

they are a good sized draw.

 

you can fit four sweets in. I would have put  those little chocolate bars in, but have not been shopping as yet.

Granddaughters birthday card

Good afternoon everyone,  well don't know what your weather is like where you are, but here in south Yorkshire, it is cold--windy--raining--...central heating on,  do not like the cold..


This card is my Granddaughters birthday card, 15 years this year, so anything  cloths or shoes..

Main card  is the  Sizzix Accordion die 658035  with  the matching  658037 Frame & Label Bracket die.

my Daughters birthday card

This card is my Daughters birthday card, the 1st October, I have another two to do as its her husbands (son-in-law) and my Granddaughters the same day...

cannot get a true colour pink, it is paler than the photo.

purple and white christmas

Good afternoon, warm welcome to new followers and all who follow.
very chilly day today, least its dry at the moment.


Decided to go with Purple for a Christmas card, not sure if it works, but preferred this colour to the red glitter card I had.

Love this embossing folder by Life style crafts "Goosebumps"  advance orders    oyster stamps
had to extended the embossing on card size 7"x 5"1/2 , worked really well.
then I cut a frame with spellbinders grand labels 1. adhered this onto embossed card.

baby carridge card

hi everyone, warm welcome to all followers,  beautiful day after a chilly start, thought it was really chilly last night..

Another baby card 6"x 6" size. this time I have used Memory box dies.  love this Baby carriage, I have also used Cheery Lynn  embellishments 2# die, for the tiny flowers on the pram.

Different technique.. with the Cuttlebug baby shower folder, I wanted to deboss in lemon ink, distress Squeezed lemonade is a very bright colour, what I did is, ink my brayer,  roll onto a blending matt, then inked my folder, I got a lovely soft lemon doing it this way. This folder also does a  pattern match, which I needed, for a 6"x6" card. white base card, lemon matt a touch smaller, last embossed card touch smaller.

baby carriage,   layered up with foam pads onto a circle  plain and scallop nestie. congratulation curved at the top of circle.
border "Charlotte border" memory box, added  ribbon, adhere to card, sentiment stampin up layered onto rectangle nesties.
die cut memory box baby stuff & baby cloths, love these, small dies but great card fillers.
tiny dots of liquid pearls, bow to finish.

acetate window card

Good afternoon everyone, warm welcome to all followers old and new.

Love this heartfelt creations Christmas card collection paper pad,  gold and red goes with it so well.

A4 card cut to 6"wide, score @ 7".  shortest 5" side, cut a 2" strip from the bottom, this leaves you 3" from your fold line.
cut strong acetate 6" x 2", adhere with strong red tape, to both the card base and your cut of strip,  you will find it easer if you put this tape onto your acetate strip,   as shown front of the card.

Sun kissed fleur  flowers, have been stamped with versamark ink pad, gold embossing powder, onto blue and beige paper from the pad, heat set, then cut with matching die, brushed with Wink of Stella clear glitter pen,  layer up using  pva glue.

wrap ribbon onto a mat of red card and paper, a touch smaller that card.

do the same for the bottom section.

Adhere swirl, this is a Bella rose die, and flowers to card front, place a bow and bells with a small flower onto ribbon trim.

 Matt red card and paper a touch smaller than 7"x 6" for inside your card, then adhere, add peace script.

framed christmas card

Good morning everyone,   warm welcome to all followers and visitors.
beautiful day here sunshine...


Not sure on this Christmas card, think it`s to busy..to much snow I followed on the stamp.. Heartfelt creations "Gate way to the seasons collection".. "Winter Season" 3543.  here at   oyster stamps

I coloured  with pan pastels, first time I have used them, must say very easy to use, they blend really well together.

I made a frame with four dies from spellbinders Grand Large Labels,  still in the dies, I then embossed these cut frames.    Folder open .. dies cutting side up on top of folder....then embossing matt.. clear plate.. Make sure you do  NOT  close your folder.. this leave`s you  your embossed plain edge around your frame...

twin boys arrived four weeks early

Good afternoon, warm welcome to new follow and all that follow me.

Good job I made the twins card Yesterday, they arrived four weeks early, they will have to stay in hospital for 4-5 weeks, for development.  both boy`s!!!

I made the cot a few weeks ago ready to finish details on the computer,  there grandma has just picked the card and cot up, gone  to see them in hospital,  takes me back a long way, although she is the same age as me.

 cot template is Arty Farty design, all embellishments as yesterdays card design.
Hearts are Martha Stewart punch.

baby card for twins

hi everyone, warm welcome to all followers....well I think it has been cold today, they say it`s going to warm up, hope so.

This card is for Twins due end on the month, had to do lemon colour as they don't know which  sex they are.

card size is 6" x 6"

 

I have used stampin up stamps "Two by Two"  and  Cuddles & tickles, (sentiment). Stamped with London fog memento ink pad, then coloured with pro markers and distress ink.
