Cardinal`s Wreath..




Hi crafty friends,   been playing with last years embossing folders, this is  two I have finished..I thought they would be quick cards..Wrong!!!  why did I start messing with colouring..LOL




Couture Creations "Wrapped In Joy Collection" CO23599 " Cardinal`s Wreath" embossing folder.
Cardinals coloured with "Chalk Pencils"  Holly & berries with Pro markers.
Free Magazine sentiment "Penny black" stamped with Archival Jet Black.





Scalloped background die, "Cherry Lynn" Scalloped Rectangle Mega Doily.. Love these 1/2 dies as you can alter the length to match your topper.

Snowflakes Memory Box "Shimmering Snowflakes" pearl beads, I brushed with White Gesso.

5.1/4" x 6.3/4"  finished card size..

Was going to comment on your so beautiful white & blue reindeer card, but then I spied these cardinals & of course had to come get a closer look. Your coloring over the embossed shapes of the EF added so much beauty & depth to the look of just the embossing. I expect it was tedious, as it's difficult to stay on the 'edges' (at least for me). You did it superbly, and I really, really Love this one. It looks fabulous placed with the other wonderful elements of your card. The coloring is so soft, it enhanced the embossing just great! Well worth your time in the final result! Loved the reindeer as well. TFS & Hugs
