Christmas Wishes.

Good morning friends followers and visitors.

We are having a Blog Blitz over on  Poppystamps blog.  show casing the September New Mini Release.

This is a simple card design using the new Poppy die "Tall Fluffy Snow Tree" .. This die cuts each layer separately, you can use as many layers as you like, I used them as they cut, but you could have smaller trees by leaving the large bottom cuts of your design.

These trees I cut in brown card, shaded through while still in the die with soft brown ink, removed and using a glue pen over the shaded area, next sprinkled fine glitter.
Foam sticky tape each cut to add dimension. I added white micro beads and Stickles  Xmas red glitter after the card was finished.

Hexagon shape cut with Poppystamps Stitched Hexagon Layer dies! Foam tape on reverse of white card adhered to a 6x6 card blank.
Red glitter card for the Bow & String die, adhered across the card, cut another bow for dimension.
Stamp sentiment in red ink.

If you would like a chance to win this "Tall Fluffy Snow Tree" ..  http://poppystamps.typepad.com/

  5. How visually interesting to combine Nature with geometric shapes, Pam! Cards that combine the two are always among my favorites. The hexagon shape is one of the most commonly found shapes in nature, and often, when not perfectly in hexagonal shape, the natural elements are six-sided. So even the portal is natural in your lovely creation - beautifully done with sepia tones, and those perfectly lined up red glittery elements are an amazing touch! Pretty embossed snowy-windy cold blasts feel good all the way down in Florida! LOL Wonderful design, my sweet friend! hugs, de
