Centre Opening Christmas Card.

Good morning crafty friends and followers..

Thought I would try a card shape I have never done before,  This circle die would be perfect from Yvonne Creations "Holly Jolly Nesting Frames".. for what I wanted to make..

Main card shape!.. One A4 card blank..

To get your equal measurements so the card meet`s in the middle.. cut the Width to 11.1/2"...(Longest side)
Score one end as shown  2.7/8"  Next turn your card and score again 2.7/8"  you should have an equal size in the middle of (back card) of 5.3/4" .

I cut the card drop  to 7". where my finger tips are!
Rounded these inside corners with my Memory Keepers corner rounder.

Finished card size 5.3/4" x 7"...

This die set is really versatile! you get you main fancy shape...Two
plain circles  and one with holes in..this is really handy as its just a circle
no blank middle! with holes in, so can be used with any other circle dies.

Too make a frame I used the fancy circle die with the largest plain circle, like below.

This is the cut out shape!

I made a backing frame a touch smaller for the back of  lacy die cut.  Adhered 1/2 the frame to the right side of my card opening as shown with glue.

Next I cut circles of gold and one in white from a stitched die with the single die with holes! Cut the Merry Christmas by  Yvonne Creations..in gold & white and glue together to create a shadow.
Adhere together and glue on the circle as shown! Place in the centre of the die cut frame! Only glue the left side to the card, making sure it open correctly..

Finished card decorated inside with papers I used Kanban "Cosmo Christmas" papers! stamp by Precious Marieke, "Spirit Of Christmas". Gold Wow Embossing Powder.
Circles from my bit box, Tutti Designs . "Deer Family Tree"...Memory Box "Christmas Stars" with Poppystamps "Valley Snowflakes"

Edges I used Krylon Gold Leafing Pen.
