Bashful Fawn. pull slider card.

Good morning friends and visitors.

Sharing my card from over on Poppystamps Blog today..

New Slider Dies from our parent company Memory Box.I have used "Straight Slider Grooves"
You have until 12 am US EST September 13 to leave comments on these posts, to be in with a chance to win dies & stamps.

My first ever slider card! as I only received this die a few  days ago, kind of wondered what to create, I went with this cute Poppystamps Bashful Fawn.

Start of my card..Poppystamps  Open Hillside & Pointed Rectangle Frame.  these I taped down to die cut together through my machine..

Added some shading with distress inks, adhered to a larger white card shape.

Hidden pull slider! hope you understand what I have done.. I have used the smallest die from Memory Box. Straight Slider Grooves set of three. card size around 4.1/4"x 1.1/2"  I cut roughly in the centre. On the reverse I used thick foam tape strips.. Make sure you leave room for the slider strip to run smooth(mine is 3/4") Leave one short edge NO tape! to pull your hidden message.
My Bashful Fawn die cut in fawn card colour I have glued this to acetate for strength. leaving plenty down the bottom to adhere as shown onto tiny piece`s on foam tape.. dust this with statistic powder   OR (Baby powder works great) make sure nothing is going to stick and your pull slider runs smooth.

Close up after I decorated the card front! did you notice I cut and adhered another  "Open hillside" to the front with Dotted Curve and where Bashful Fawn starts.

He`s moving!!

Going!!

And just about gone!.

Thanks for stopping by and don`t forget to comment..over on  http://poppystamps.typepad.com/
you have a chance to win a Slider Groove" die and stamp set of your choice! ..

Who knew that slider cards could be so endearing? (No pun intended - I'm not that clever)! This is so charming, Pam. You've turned me from someone who would never consider making a slider card to someone that would. Sweeter than sweet, my talented friend. ❤️❤️❤️
(Copied and pasted from what I wrote on the Poppystamps blog). Gorgeous card. Xxx
